“My daughter loves Murphy Canyon Preschool! She’s been going there since she was two and when I go to pick her up, she tells me “can I play just more minutes?” The school has a new director Ms. Kelly who’s attentive and kind and is full of ideas; we also loved the old principal! They have meals/snacks multiple times a day, really good safety measures, ample outdoor space with toys, and they learn a ton of songs. My daughter has the most precious art too! I highly recommend Murphy Canyon Preschool!

“We've been part of the Murphy Canyon Preschools for years. My oldest son started when he was 2.5 back in 2018, and was there until he started kindergarten. My youngest is currently almost 4 and has been there for 2 years. Both of my kids were very shy when they started here and the teachers were SO GREAT about making them feel safe and welcomed. My oldest started with a severe speech delay and I was concerned about how it would affect him. He came out of his shell so much and over his time at Murphy Canyon and was well-prepared to walk into kindergarten confidently. My son who is currently at Murphy Canyon has also come out of his shell so much and that's all due to the teachers who have taken the time to give him the support and care he needs. […] My 4 year old comes home singing songs about the planets, colors, months, and days of the week and always enjoys showing me what's new in his classroom. This preschool is a hidden gem in our community.”

“My daughter has attended MCP since she was two and she will be graduating to UTK very soon. MCP has been an excellent school for my daughter. She is a shy kid who made friends and loves her teachers. She always wants to go to school and wants to know "what will we do today" at school because MCP often has special art projects or fun events. The new owner Ms. Kelly has developed MCP into a Montessori school and is invested in the success of both the students and teachers. And what great hours for working families: open from 7 AM - 5:30 PM! Who knew this school tucked away in Kearny Mesa would be such a gem!”
