Toddler Lead Teacher
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our team to lead our toddler classroom (ages 18 months - 36 months old). The ideal candidate is passionate about the Montessori approach to education with a strong background in early childhood education. We are looking for a collaborative and nurturing individual for this full time position. Compensation is dependent upon education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Montessori credential, complete or in progress
- Minimum 12 ECE units, required
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field, or equivalent, preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working in a toddler classroom, 2 years preferred
- Physical stamina to work with young children and lift up to 30 pounds
-Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, communicate effectively and supervise personnel when necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
